The dropped apples

What is in your mind when you read or heard word 'apple'?

This tasty and fresh apple?
Red, perfect shape, and delicious apple?

or maybe as simple as a brand name of a company (you know what I mean)?

Now, please look at the next picture, there are a lot of apples!

Aren't they gorgeous? When we see a lot of apple like this, we'll really happy and glad (at least I do). Fresh apples! The head of my school told all teachers one day that if you drop the apple to the ground many times it will (still) looks good from outside. The same delicious apple. But then, if you cut the apple into two parts, you will see the inside of the apple looks terribly bad because it has dropped.

She compare the dropped apple with the children and or people around us and the cause of the drop as the bullying action (verbal or nonverbal).  Bullying is an action that hurt somebody feeling, mental or physically. Maybe what we say or do means nothing for us, but for those children or people, it will be a big hole that become bigger and bigger. What she was trying to say is the target of bullying will looks okay and fine from outside. But the inside?
That's why we have to be careful in saying anything. Kidding is only happened if both side (the one who throw the joke and the one who become the joke) are laugh together. If one of them feel bad about that, it's not a joke anymore.

What I have learned that I have to mind my words, because wrong words can be a really sharp knife that can kill somebody.  I want my students and people around me as fresh as the apples on the tree. No scars inside them. So we can be happy together.

A tree grows in my room!

One day, I was really bored so I painted my wall by using acrylics and brushes that I bought last Saturday. First, I drew the wooden trunk and branches,

I used some newspapers to cover my bed from the acrylic's drops. When my mom went into my room she said that the trunk was so thin but i don't think so. I like it.

                                                             Then I drew some flowers...

                                                                   and some more...

                                                                            and more...

and in an hour, I found a tree grows in my room.

Home Vs House

Imagine my future home is so excited! I imagine the little details and also the colors. I said it as a home and not a house because this word gives me more 'warm' feeling. Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary 3rd Ed. 2008 stated that house is a building which people, usually one family, live in. Not too different, home is stated as a house, apartment, or etc. where you live, especially with your family. Is it too difficult to differentiate between them?

It's okay. Me too. That is why I started to Google them. haha.

BBC World Service defines a house as a particular type of building, but a home is a place where you live and feel that you belong to. I love this explanation. So, I decided to think about my future home, not only a house, a building, but a place where I'll live happily with my future husband and children.

First of all, I'll make sure that I'll draw on my wall. I love drawing. So does my boyfriend. I'll draw tree,   flowers, and happiness so one day I could teach my children how to draw their own dreams.

Next, there should be a library. I love to read books because they open my world. They  lead me into new imagination, new dreams, new life, new adventures, and the new me. Everybody can read them, they just need to put the book back after they finish (and they SHOULD be).

White and green colors are not bad right? So refreshing. I imagine myself sit on the sofa with my husband, watching my daughter and son play on the floor. We will be happy.

Talk about white I think I have to show you what is in my mind. Do you think that white bricks will give you a nice atmosphere? It will be nice when I hang some pictures on it. the pictures where all of my family smile and laugh.

I love tree. It makes me feel good. That's why I want a tree in my home, maybe if couldn't get the real one I'll take the fake one, or if i couldn't do that too, one more time, I'll draw it. Sakura tree is my favorite. White or pink are okay. Aren't they pretty?

A nice kitchen will be complete my family. I'll cook--and yes, I can cook my dear--there. Warm food for my children and husband. Good food, good feeling, good rest, good energy, good wife (aamiin).

How about you? have you ever imagine your future home?
